The McGehee Hospital Auxiliary has 25 active members and is a member of the Arkansas Hospital Auxiliary Association. The Auxiliary is dedicated to helping people coming into the hospital in any way we can.

We furnish stuffed animals and toys to the Radiology Department, the Lab, and the ER.

This is geared to help children who are afraid of whatever procedure they are having and to give them comfort.

We sponsor scrubs sales throughout the year for the hospital employees and nursing home workers. The money we make goes to purchase needed items for the hospital.

Monthly we make trips with the juice and coffee cart to patient rooms and to employees. We also offer magazines and games to patients during these trips.

Weekly we assist in helping at the Outpatient Specialty Clinics provided by McGehee Hospital.

Auxiliary members assist with Life Share Blood Drives held at McGehee Hospital.

We sponsor the HELP program, which provides safety stickers to be worn inside bicycle helmets giving critical information to responders in the event of a bicycle wreck.

We have several Bake Sales a year for the employees and we use the proceeds to go to our general fund which purchases needed items for the hospital.

We provide baskets of goodies to the doctors for Doctor’s Week.

Gift Shop

The gift shop is open daily and has a variety of items for sale, including handmade items as well as gifts and balloons.

The money raised by the McGehee Hospital Auxiliary is used yearly to purchase items needed from the Capital Needs List for the hospital.
