Dr. James Renfroe III

About Me

Dr. James A. Renfroe III is a dedicated family medicine physician and a proud native of McGehee, Arkansas. He earned his Bachelor of Science in Biochemistry and Biology from the University of Arkansas at Monticello. Pursuing his passion for medicine, he obtained his medical degree from the University of Arkansas for Medical Sciences (UAMS) College of Medicine in 2014. Dr. Renfroe completed his residency in Family Medicine at UAMS South Central in Pine Bluff, Arkansas, from 2014 to 2017. 

In 2017, Dr. Renfroe returned to his hometown to serve the community that shaped him. As the Chief of Staff at McGehee Hospital and Medical Director of the McGehee Family Clinic, he plays a pivotal role in overseeing clinical operations and ensuring the delivery of high-quality healthcare services.

Dr. Renfroe is board-certified by the American Board of Family Medicine and holds an active medical license in the state of Arkansas through 2026.  His clinical interests encompass a broad spectrum of family medicine, including the management of chronic conditions such as hypertension, diabetes, and arthritis. 

At the McGehee Family Clinic, Dr. Renfroe leads a team committed to providing comprehensive and compassionate care. The clinic emphasizes a holistic approach to health, addressing not only physical ailments but also the emotional and spiritual well-being of patients. Under his leadership, the clinic has become a cornerstone of the community, known for its patient-centered philosophy and commitment to accessibility.
