Dr. Asif Masood is a medical Oncologist/Hematologist and has been practicing since 2004. He received his medical degree from King Edward Medical College, Lahore, Pakistan. He completed his residency in Internal Medicine at St. Joseph Hospital/Northwestern University in Chicago, IL. He completed fellowship training in medical oncology and hematology at Michigan State University.

Dr. Masood practices at Jefferson Regional Cancer Center. He is an Adjunct Associate Clinical Professor at the UAMS South Central – Pine Bluff and is actively involved in training young doctors. He is a member of the American Society of Clinical Oncology, American Society of Hematology, and the Arkansas Medical Society.

He lost his mother to cancer when he was only 15 years old, and since then it has been a personal journey and a commitment to bring relief to patients with this terrible disease.

Dr. Masood is married with three children. When he isn’t caring for patients, he enjoys playing pool and golf.

He completed fellowships in Cardiology and Interventional Cardiology at the University of Florida College of Medicine – Jacksonville, in Jacksonville, Florida.

Dr. Shah is a member of the physician team at Jefferson Regional Cardiology Associates and the Jefferson Regional Medical Staff. He is a member of the American College of Cardiology, the American Heart Association and the American College of Physicians.
